I have been playing classical for about 5 years, and have owned several high-end nylon instruments, as well as some outstanding flattops. I recently acquired one of Paul's Picasso guitars. Would definitely rate it among the best sounding nylong guitars I've owned or played. I also recently had the opportunity to play a Super Ace, and it's everything that I could want in this style of guitar. Each of his guitar's that I've heard or played is wonderfully resonant, even across all ranges and have outstanding separation. While they may be designed and used primarily for jazz, the quality of the sound would work superbly for classical, as well. Finally, I would have to place Paul's workmanship among the top 5 luthier's I've ever seen. A Super Ace is now on order. Good luck with your decision.
