The fact that for some time now the Resoblade sytem has not been built our delivered, does not mean there is no demand for it.
In 2000 the dutch firm Technovelties b.v. was granted the temporary european patent for 'a wind instrument and closure member for a wind instrument' and sued the manufacturer for enfringing on patent law. Musical Technovelties b.v. represents the inventor Rienk Smeding in many european countries.
Now, in Februari 2001, the Patent register has announced that Wolf Kodera, who's invention Resoblade is under attack by the dutch applicant for the patent, has filed an appeal, which has been accepted.
And just as soon as it is know when there will be instruments available again with the same action and sound features of the Resoblade saxophone, and who will be manufacturing them, Pro-Music-News will bring you up to date.
