Timothy Dorwart and Michael Quandt join Stanton Group's Board of Directors
|The Stanton Group, an audio equipment company operating Stanton Magnetics, Cerwin Vega, and KRK Systems, announces the appointment of Tim Dorwart and Mike Quandt to Stanton Group’s Board of Directors. Rory Brooks, Chairman of the Board of Directors remarked, “We are extremely pleased with the recent additions of Mike and Tim to the Board. Their additional contributions will be invaluable as the company continues to go through an exciting growth phase. On behalf of the Board, I welcome Tim and Mike and look forward to working with them in their expanded roles.”
Tim Dorwart began his career as a professional musician and followed that up with successful stints at Bose Corporation and DMX Music where he built up their sales, marketing and distribution divisions and pioneered innovative selling channels. With over 25 years of experience, Dorwart has managed the profit and loss results for major national/multi-national corporations as well as multi-million dollar capital, expense and revenue results. Tim Dorwart said: “I’m honored to join a group of individuals who have played a pivotal role in developing three award winning brand. I look forward to contributing to the continued success of KRK Systems, Cerwin Vega! and Stanton DJ.”
Michael Quandt was appointed to the position of President and COO in February 2007. Mike joined the Stanton Group as CFO in 2002 and was responsible for overseeing the Groups administrative and financial operations and also held the title Senior Vice President of Operations. Quandt is a CPA with over 20 years of financial and operational management experience, including Vice President of Finance at AAR Landing Gear Services and held several senior level financial positions at Phelps Dodge Corporation.
