Turbosound Ltd, the British-based manufacturer of live performance and installed-sound loudspeaker systems, has recently appointed a new exclusive Austrian distributor - dBLuX Vertriebs GmbH, based in Dornbirn. Located close to the Swiss and German borders in Western Austria, dBLuX is already reporting major successes for Turbosound's QLight and Impact series.
dBLuX was established in 2001 by Thomas Feuerstein and Johannes Sorgo to fill a perceived gap in the local market. Thomas explains: "We could see that there was a need for a new kind of sound and light distribution company that provided an excellent product range, supported by a comprehensive, responsive after sales service. Turbosound products represent a perfect match for our target market, and in the few months since our appointment, we have already achieved some major successes. The specialist bars and clubs, particularly in the ski resorts, are looking for an extremely high quality and powerful sound system that is easy to install, and maintain, as well as being resistant to bad weather conditions. These are qualities that typify Turbosound loudspeakers. We have concentrated our sales effort via a countrywide net of resellers, with the Impact 50 and QLight series loudspeakers proving especially popular."
Initial sales via dBLuX have included equipping a number of popular regional bars with Impact 50 systems, including the Café Moosbrugger in Schoppernau, the Scorpio-Bar in Reuthe, and Sportsworld Amadé in Flachau.
On the QLight front, corporate events company MarketingforEvents GmbH in Linz has taken a comprehensive system, with dBLuX anticipating strong future take-up for these products in the coming months.
