Sabian reorganizes marketing and sales

Sabian Ltd. announced a reorganization and expansion of its sales and marketing team. According to Sabian president Dan Barker: "In order to effectively service our markets in approximately 120 countries, we have reorganized our marketing and sales teams, creating a stronger more unified and effective group in the process. This adjustment includes some role changes by existing staff and the addition of new members."
Stacey Montgomery-Clark - Acting Director of Marketing/Assistant to the President.
Stacey joined Sabian after completing a Business degree at the University of New Brunswick, where she graduated with honors. She was recently promoted to direct Sabian's marketing team and its programs, while continuing to play an active role in the general operations of the company. A nine-year veteran, she previously held the position of International Artist Relations Manager.
Mardi Thornton - Marketing Operations Manager/Public Relations
With her responsibilities recently expanded to include Public Relations, Mardi's role extends from the coordination of trade shows, major events, and marketing projects, to the disbursement of Sabian news and happenings throughout the trade and consumer arenas. A sixteen-year veteran with the company, she also participates in and coordinates activities for a wide range of marketing projects.
Wayne Blanchard - Senior Marketing Manager/Advertising and Communications
With an extensive background in music, retail and communications, Wayne brings to Sabian an international perspective gained from years of living in Europe. A seventeen-year veteran with the company, his primary focus is the development of effective advertising and communication strategies and materials for Sabian worldwide, including p.o.p. and Sabian's annual consumer publication, NewsBeat.
Terry Ryan - Marketing Manager/Retail Merchandising and Consumer Relations
The latest addition to the Sabian marketing team, Terry will focus on developing the company's comprehensive point-of-purchase program and strengthening consumer communications, including development of content for the Sabian website. An eight-year veteran of Canadian retail chain Music Stop, he comes to Sabian with an extensive musical and management background.
Terri Shaw - U.S. Sales Supervisor
With the company for eight years, Terri is now working closely with the U.S. dealer base in coordinating sales and promotion initiatives within the U.S. She also coordinates all U.S. dealer visits to the head office in Meductic, N.B. and works very closely with Sabian's four regional specialists and Sabian's U.S. sales manager.
Christian Stankee - West Coast Regional Specialist
David Compaan - Midwest Regional Specialist
Jason Medynski - Southeast Regional Specialist
The regional specialists' role is to provide strategic merchandising assistance to dealers in the U.S. In addition the regional specialists provide indepth, concentrated 'expert-level' product training to store personnel on an ongoing basis.
Concluded Barker: "With the expansion of our sales and marketing teams Sabian will continue focussing on the ever-changing market conditions providing better benefit in the relationship with our customers."
