|The launch of a second generation CM Series at PLASA 2003 completes a product life cycle for the Logic System brand. New Logic System sales Manager Ade Hardy commented, "The launch of the new CM Series gives us one of the most complete product ranges in the Pro Audio Industry and lets us compete in a diverse range of markets. The new CM boxes will benefit from cosmetic changes to bring them in line with the rest of the product range, and from upgraded Cone and Compression drivers. The product mix for the range, which is principally sold for stage monitoring, will remain the same with co-axial 12"+1", 15"+1" and 15"+2" variants."
Company MD Chris Scott added that, "Clearly the changes to the CM cabinets are evolutionary rather than revolutionary, but we are building on what was already a top grade range. The significance of these products to Logic cannot be underestimated as it gives us an in to the touring market. Monitors are a lot less brand conscious than FOH and we have clients who happily combine CM monitors with products such as V Dosc on FOH. At this stage of the company's brand development we can t hope to compete with the big boys on FOH systems, but a product to be launched in summer 2004 will certainly change a few perceptions."
