DR series of loudspeakers by D.A.S. for fixed installations and portable use

D.A.S. introduced its DR series oft compact and portable loudspeakers designed for small to medium sound reinforcement applications at prolight + sound how 2008 in Frankfurt. Optional accessories for suspending the cabinets from walls or ceilings widens the range of possible applications to include permanent installations. The DR-8, DR-108 and DR-108A models incorporate the proven B-8 and 8B drivers and the new M-26 high frequency unit. Both the 12" and 15" models incorporate the Mi series drivers equipped with 2.5" voice coils. The large magnet structures and efficient heat dissipation schemes provide excellent power handing capabilities and reliability. High frequency reproduction is done by the new M-34 compression driver which employs a 1" exit geometry and titanium diaphragm. The cabinets are manufactured of high density black polypropylene. The DR-8, DR-12 and DR-15 are also available in white. Integral rigging points and wall mount receiving points offer a safe and easy way to mount the DR series cabinets to walls or ceilings. For mobile applications systems the DR series includes handles and pole mount sockets. The DR-108, DR-112, and DR-115 models can be used as floor monitors. Heavy-duty, steel grilles provide superior protection for all of the speaker components.
