GK 700RBGallien-Krueger are currently broadening their bass-amplification. The new flagship in terms of power and flexibilty, the GK 2001RB has been upgraded in the last couple of weeks and now features not only four power-amps with a total power of 1100 watts and the standard features for distinctive GK-sound, a gain channel for distorted bass has been added and the bi-amp feature and tuning mute have been made footswitchable.
Derived from the same lineage as the 800RB, the 700RB signifies the next evolution of this classic in a highly portable, yet rugged combo format. Three active voicing filters (4/5 string accentuator switch, contour and presence controls) and four-band active EQ allow you to completely tailor your sound. The sophisticated bi-amp power section drives 380 watts to the lows and 50 watts to the highs. The cabinet design allows the user the option to play the amp upright or rocked back for use as a stage monitor.
Custom-tooled corners make pairing these combos with RBH Series Cabinets (available in 2-10, 1-15 and 4-10 formats) safe and secure. The  Lock' n Roll  transport system with a recessable handle and wheels makes moving these combos easy. Other features include AA grade birch construction, carpet covering, cast-frame speakers, XLR output with level control, ground lift and pre/post EQ switch, speakon and ¼" speaker outputs, effects loop, tuner-out with mute switch and a variable speed cooling fan.
Based on the Gallien Krueger 700RB the GK 1001RB addresses the musician working on large stages requiring even more powerful and thundering basses with 540 watts to the lows and 50 watts to the highs. Other features include XLR output with level control, ground lift and pre/post EQ switch, Speakon and ¼" speaker outputs, effects loop, tuner out with mute switch, variable speed cooling fan, includes rack ears and Speakon cable.
