Players who need a bit more punch to get their musical message have a choice of BassKick 200 and 300. All BassKick power amps are equipped with Hughes & Kettner's DynaClip technology, a trademarked circuit that prevents undesirable distortion at threshold levels and extends headroom. For an extra kick players can reach for the compressor on the two big BassKick models. Tailored to satisfy the needs of bass players, this musical tool conjures tube-like saturation effects.
BassKick series preamps base on technologies that endow the flagship models of the Quantum line. The Tube Touch input circuit treats players to the responsiveness and feel of a classic tube amp.The Pure Parallel EQ hails from the high-end studio sector. A voicing section of the highest order, it offers a combination of smooth, musical action and effective, intuitive handling.
When it comes to loading speakers into top-drawer bass combos and cabinets, Eminence has been the maker of choice for more than 30 years. The 15" woofers in BassKick models were developed in close cooperation with the designers at Eminence's sonic foundry and painstakingly tweaked to match the amps' and enclosures' tonal characteristics. HF horns are on board to add lush harmonics to the spectrum.
