behringer Vintager GM110 analog modeling guitar combo Launched at Musikmesse Frankfurt, the Behringer Vintager GM110 analog modeling guitar combo will start shipping from summer NAMM 2002. The 30 Watt vintage-style combo is designed to reproduce the tonal qualities of some well-known classic guitar amps authentically, providing guitarists with a flexible amp for practice, recording, rehearsal or warm-up.
The GM110 houses three classic amp models, three speaker simulation models and three gain modes, all individually selectable for a total of 27 various authentic guitar tones based on analogue circuitry. The GM110 deploys a Jensen vintage-type 10" 35 Watt driver.
Behringer's Dynamizer circuitry adds tube-like compression and harmonics to the tone. For direct recording or connection of an external power amp, a balanced direct out with XLR connector and ground lift switch delivers sound including all amp, speaker, gain mode, drive, EQ and level settings. A serial effects loop allows integration of external effects processors, an 8 Ohm speaker out mutes the internal speaker.
At summer NAMM Behringer will be showing the Vintager GM 110 at booth 5423 at the Gaylord Entertainment Center.
