At prolight+sound show 2005, Frankfurt, Germany, TerraTec Producer presented Axon AX 100 mk II, a revamped version of the acknowledged Axon AX 1000 guitar-to-MIDI controller. The mk Ifeatures substantial mechanical improvements and a user-friendly computer interface. The fully-featured PC editor enables users to conveniently carry out all functions. A Mac version to follow.
A custom development by TerraTec, the Axon Soundboard boasts more than 500 new sample layer sounds, including 10 powerful drum kits and an SFX kit. All sounds are both GM and XG compatible. The device offers 128 voice polyphony for large program layers.
