Larrivée Guitars installs Elixir Phosphor Bronze strings

Larrivée Guitars announces that the Nanoweb coated Phosphor Bronze range from Elixir Strings will be the factory-installed string of choice on all the company's new models. All acoustics on the Larrivée stand at this summer's NAMM were fitted with these strings.
True to Elixir Strings company ethos of making strings that keep their tone and feel, this new range delivers the textured sound of a phosphor bronze string combined with the durability of Elixir Strings unique Nanoweb coating. It was these qualities that prompted Larrivée Guitars to approach Elixir Strings. "We were highly impressed with the new vibrant tone of the Phosphor Bronze strings," says founder Jean Larrivée of the partnership. "These new strings bring out the best in our guitars and will allow players to experience that in retail shops. We knew it was a good idea. And we knew that only Elixir Strings could make it work."
Elixir Strings' product manager Craig Theorin welcomes Larrivée's decision: "They've recognised that our new technology is the answer to the classic conundrum that phosphor bronze strings' short life present," he says. "Now, guitar players who want that coveted phosphor bronze tone won't have to worry about it fading prematurely."
