Hagström jazz guitar models ship from summer 2006

Following the first prototypes - which had been exhibited at summer Namm show 2004 and officially launched at winter Namm show 2005 - most models of the new Hagström line of guitars are available throughout the USA. Still previewed at winter Namm 2006, the Hagström jazz models start shipping in summer 2006.
The hollowbody Viking is available in a Deluxe and a standard version and a choice of several finishes. Suitable for all genres, the Viking is the most versatile guitar in Hagström's line of Jazz models. Sharing the same basic design, hardware and electronics, the Deluxe boasts flamed maple for its body and block position marks on the fretboard. Both Vilking models feature a 24.75” scale, two Hagström HJ-50 humbuckers, 3-way toggle selector and long travel Tune-O-Matic with Hagstrom trapeze tail piece.
The HJ-500 and HJ-600 models are fullbody jazz guitars with a hardware and an eletric design similar to the Viking. There are two HJ-50 humbuckers as well as a Hagström trapeze tail piece with an Ebony Jimmy bridge.
The beautiful antique style HL-550 also features the trapeze tail piece and the Ebony Jimmy bridge. A single humbucker at the neck position and two controls in the pickguard are the only visible signs showing that this guitar with its glossy Mahagony body is electrified.
