CME launches Z-Key master keyboard at Musikmesse 2011

At Musikmesse 2011, Frankfurt/Main, Germany, CME introduced Z-Key master keyboard which is available in sizes of 49/61/76/88 notes to meet all requirements.
Designed for the discerning user, Z-Keys’ range incorporates a completely new keybed design, resulting in better, more consistent action. Z-Keys is an attractive modern design, stylish enough for the home yet rugged enough for the live performance.
Z-Keys is the first keyboard range with piano-style Zenith weighted action keys with velocity sensitivity and after-touch throughout the complete range. Zenith keys are the best comfortable piano-style keys following several years research by CME. Each is individual so it can be adjusted individually for touch and response. CME promises that Its improved key sensitivity makes it feel like a real piano. The contact surface of a black key is up to 20% more than other keyboards. The casing is manufactured in high quality aluminum for extra strength, and the end panels in Piano-lacquered PE.
Z-Keys' features also include pitch bend and modulation wheels, data dial, standby button, one MIDI-out, transpose buttons octave+ and octave-, sustain pedal jack socket, as well as a choice of velocity curve and aftertouch curves. Instruments are USB bus-powered, class-compliant with Windows XP/Vista/7 and Mac OS X.
Z-Key comes with a fully licensed version of Presonus Studio One Artist. This digital recording software for Windows and MacOS is powerful enough for professional use but easy for anyone to pick up and learn.
