Drum Workshop announces major upgrades to its successful line of all-maple Pacific drumsets. Made at DW's own facility in Baja, Mexico and modeled after the well known Collector's Series Satin Oil finish, Pacific's new MX Series boasts a hand applied matte finish that's available in two distinct colors, Deep Red and Sea Blue. The 5-piece kits in F.A.S.T. sizes include 8x10", 9x12", 12x14" toms, 18x22" kick and matching 5x14" snare and comes with Pacific 8.1 hardware pack included. Add-on toms in 8" and 16" sizes are also available.
Pacific will also be offering an alternate kit configuration for the LX lacquer series drums featuring an 18x20" bass drum. The kits will be available in all six finishes being offered for LX in 2004. Color options include Ultra Violet, Crimson Red, Amber, Natural and for the first time ever, two "Custom" choices: Cherry to Black Fade (see picture) and Regal to Royal Fade. LX drums come with 8.1 hardware pack included.
Other major upgrades to the Pacific line include a new side-to-side throw-off with matching butt plate, sporty new chrome embossed badge and pro-style (STM) suspension tom mount.
