Arista/Nashville recording artist Pam Tillis is teaming up once again with producer Billy Joe Walker, Jr. for her latest record. This marks the third project that Tillis and Walker have collaborated on in the studio. Their previous efforts included 1998's critically acclaimed Every Time and Pam's 1997 Greatest Hits package which reached gold status.
Walker commented on the new project saying, "I think these sides are Pam Tillis at her best. The songs encompass 'flavors' of country/pop to the more traditional country as well." To date, tracks for the project are being done at Emerald Recording Studio with Julian King as principal engineer, assisted by Ricky Cobble. The console used in tracking was an SSL 4064 E/G with a Sony 48 Digital Recorder using Quantegy 467 tape. Overdubs are also scheduled at Emerald with Chris Stone as engineer. Hamstein Productions is handling all production coordination on the project, which is slated for an early 2001 release.
