First shown at Musikmesse Frankfurt 2003, the Terratec Producer Phase 28 introduces PC users to the world of professional recording. Sporting two inputs and eight outputs, a MIDI interface, and digital I/Os designed for a variety of formats, Phase 28 features connnectors for all audio applications on a specially shielded break-put cable. The balanced 6.3 mm (¼") jacks accept studio levels and signal resolutions of up to 24 bits / 192 kHz for stereo recordings and play back of high-resolution 5.1/7.1 surround productions. Gain controls allow adjusment to different signal levels.
The PHASE 28's coaxial digital ports accept S/PDIF, AC3, and DTS data streams with all standard sampling rates up to 32 bits. The output is designed to handle sampling frequencies up to 192 kHz.
The PHASE 28's software works with ASIO 2.0, GSIF, MME, WDM, MAC OS9, MAC OSX or Windows XP. The driver architecture ensures low latency, high performance and compatibility with the audio platform of your choice.
