Selmer adds Tenor saxophones to its 40 Series

At Winter NAMM 2014, Anaheim, Conn-Selmer announced the growth of th Selmer 40 Series Saxophone Line with the addition of Tenor saxophones to the range. Also, Alto and Tenor now have black nickel and silver-plated finishes.
“The 40 Series Alto has been a tremendous success,” stated Robert Lichty, Woodwind Category Manager at Conn-Selmer, Inc. He added, “It garners praise from professional players as an excellent horn, at a great price. The demand for a Tenor saxophone has been great. We are launching the 40 Series Tenor with other finishes to meet the market demands.”
The 40 Series saxophones from Conn-Selmer, Inc. are a first ever collaboration between Henri Selmer Paris and Selmer USA. All the horns feature a custom designed and manufactured Henri Selmer Paris neck and mouthpiece, along with a feature filled body that responds at a top performance level. The black nickel and silver-plated versions both feature a silver-plated Henri Selmer Paris neck.
