At Musikmesse Frankfurt 2004 saxophone manufacturer Julius Keilwerth launches the SX90R "Shadow" saxophone. Featuring a black nickel plated coated body made of nickel silver, the instrument looks beautiful with its black mother of pearl buttons and silver plated keys. Keilwerth also has re-designed the layout of the keys for enhanced ergonomics.
The bodies made of nickel silver are individually produced to the highest specifications to enhance the benefits of this material. Nickel silver adapts to and conducts changing frequencies faster than other material, gives immediate response and a well centred and powerful tone.
