Buffet Crampon introduces new Besson line of student instruments

Having joined the Buffet Crampon group in 2006, Besson brass instruments are availble in the professional lines Sovereign and Prestige following the tradition of Britsih brass sound. At Musikmesse Frankfurt 2008 a student range comprising nine brass instruments was introduced.
The Besson 1000 series brass offers student instruments including cornets, trombones, tenor horns, baritiones, euphoniums and tubas as well as french horns. Made in Czech Republic, the french horns include three models with a single bell and three valves, Models BE601 and BE602 feature a compact design for young players. BE 810 has a double horn (also availble detachable) and four valöves. All instruments ar laquered.
The cornet BE1020, the tenor horn BE 1052, the baritone BE1057 (pictured is silver plated model BE1057-2), euphonium BE1062 with three bottoms and euphonium BE1065wirh bottoms, the trombone BE1030 as well as the lightweight tubas BE 1077 and BE1087 are made in India. All instruments made at the new Indian facility are available in silver plated or laquered finishes.
