Sophisticated design of a Resoblade.American saxophone players are enthousiastic and at winter NAMM orders for Coderamodels increased. The instruments are manufactured by B&S, among others. Professional saxophone player Wolf Codera designed Resoblades for improved responseand enhanced sound a couple of years ago. Resoblades are attached beneath the keys replacing the standard pads.
Resoblades are made of a thin metal plate mounted to the keys with a sophisticated mechanical construction (see drawing). The design allows free swiveling and precise adjustment. A sealing ring provides precise covering of the tone hole rim.
At Musikmesse Frankfurt Resoblade equipped instruments were showing at the stands of B&S, Stölzel, L.A. Sax and Codera.
