Shure introduces additional Microflex Microphones

At prolight+sound the new line extension to the Microflex microphone family is one of the highlights at the Shure booth at this year's Prolight + Sound, taking place from March 28 – 31, 2007 in Frankfurt/Main. These models, particularly designed for conferencing applications, grant AV-integrators the highest level of flexibility to choose the perfect microphone – wired or wireless.
All models allow for a low-profile integration in any conference environment and offer the excellent sound quality Shure is known for world-wide. Furthermore the new Microflex microphones impress with remarkable design and innovative LED indicators for easy monitoring of microphone status.
The new wireless Microflex models are based on the successful Shure SLX wireless platform, providing easy set-up and superior sound via patented Audio Reference Companding technology. For greater flexibility, certain models offer interchangeable microphone capsules and a choice of various polar patterns. All models are equipped with a switchable low cut filter.

The new models can be used with a surface mount preamplifier, a wired desktop base with programmable mute switch or the MX890 wireless desktop base with simple mute switch.
The MX890 Wireless Desktop Base offers a quick release 6-pin microphone jack for interchanging goosenecks, mute switch and infrared sync functionality.
