Xavtel introduces its advanced CDM2000 delegate station at InfoComm

Following a buzz at ISE and Prolight + Sound Shows, Xavtel’s newly introduced range of digital conferencing, multi-room networking and applications requiring HD video with audio over IP is set for InfoComm 2014. In Las Vegas Xavtel is introducing the CDM2000, a delegate station that allows for discussion and conference, but also RFID identification, voting, and multi-lingual interpretation applications. Upgrades are planned later in the year allowing for voting and simultaneous translation in 31 languages.
Also launching at Infocomm is Xavtel’s CDM-T5, a Chairman and Media delegate station, which in addition to the CDM2000 features a 5” touch screen and can manage and control a whole conference or meeting.
Announced at pl+s in Frankfurt, Xavtel's OCTO range of Audio DSP processors includes the budget priced OCTO Jr, the OCTO Sr cascadable DSP platform, and the very sophisticated fully networkable OCTO Pro for more processing intensive applications and real time audio over a network. The OCTO Sr will debut at InfoComm highlighting its intelligent DSP processing and RWD wall mounted devices (US and EU size) to allow bidirectional Audio I/O and control via a dedicated bus (OCTO-LINK) up to 250 meters away from the OCTO Sr, wired with standard CAT5/6 cables.
Completing the system, Xavtel is introducing its OCTO amplifier at Infocomm, which connects via the OCTO-LINK and provides 2 x 20W on Low Z for the most flexible installation purposes.
Director of Marketing & Business Development Romano Cunsolo commented: "We are looking forward to building on our success at Infocomm. Our customers are looking for an ‘easy to integrate’ solution, which is Xavtel’s philosophy. Listening to our customers, and understanding market demands, we’re creating products that provide seamless integration, meeting the demands of modern HD Video, Audio and VoIP applications.”
The Senator system is now shipping. The Senator system also includes the DCA-660 digital multi-channel amplifier. The processor and the amplifier link together over a single CAT5/6 cable and auto-calibrate for a mix minus application.
