Based in Beirut, Libanon, Vatech Video & Audio has been appointed distributor of Telex/RTS intercom systems for the country. Fadi Serhan, Vatech's general manager brings with him more than 20 years of knowledge about the broadcast market in Libanon. After ten years of working as broadcast engineer, Fadi Serhan set up Vatech Video & Audio eleven years ago. Working closely with all large broadcasters, a staff of seven takes care of sales, shipping, engineering and support out of the company's new showroom in the center of Beirut.
"Telex/RTS enables us to now offer the best available intercom solutions to our customers", says Fadi Serhan. Following an unsettled past, Serhan notices a growing marketplace in his country. „Independent broadcasters are buying new gear, and public radio and TV need to work with reliable technology“.
