Eminence announces changes in management structure

One of the largest suppliers of loudspeaker components for the world’s professional audio and musical instrument industries, Eminence Speaker LLC announced changes in its management structure that the company believes will contribute to its continued strength in the industry and enhance the quality, value, and service it provides to its customers.
Rob Gault, the company’s president since 1992 will assume the role of Chairman of the Board. With the addition of the company’s China manufacturing operations in June of 2006, Gault has been, and will continue to direct many of his efforts in the further development of global operations. Gault will also be playing a pivotal role in the direction and growth of the company’s amplifier and systems development for the manufacturing facility in Dongguan, China.
Rob Gault received a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Georgia Tech in 1982, and continued his education, receiving a Master’s in Electrical Engineering in 1986. The same year, he returned to Eminence, the company his father founded in 1966. For the next year he worked in the Eminence sales department to become intricately familiar with the company’s customer base. In 1987, he went on to become the company’s Vice President of Manufacturing.
Assuming the role of Eminence President is Chris Rose. Rose received a Bachelor’s Degree in advertising from the University of Kentucky in 1986, and has been with the company since April of 1997. Rose began his tenure with the company in the production department, and was later promoted to Distribution and Marketing Director in 1999.
Rose states, “It is a distinct honor and privilege for me to have the opportunity to direct the daily operations of Eminence. I originally sought employment with the company because of its strength in the industry, and its commitment to employees and customers. It is my intention to diligently maintain the core values and principles that have guided our company since 1966, while meeting the ever-changing needs of our customers and strategically planning for our future growth.”
Gault continues, “I am very pleased that Chris has agreed to accept this position and have every confidence that he will lead our team and our company strongly into the future.”
