RMX 5050 by QSC AudioQSC Audio announces the latest and most powerful addition to the RMX Series power amplifier line - the RMX 5050. Delivering studio quality performance at an affordable price, the RMX 5050 is a solution for a wide range of sound reinforcement applications, from professional touring rigs and musicians to mobile DJs and entertainers.
The flagship of the RMX Series, the RMX 5050 features a three-tier, Class H design-delivering more efficient performance and less wasted current. The amplifier delivers 1100 w/ch at 8 ohms, 1800 w/ch at 4 ohms, and 2500 w/ch at 2 ohms (EIA rated - stereo). It also offers selectable low frequency filters (30Hz or 50Hz) to protect speakers and increase headroom, as well as high-current toroidal transformers for increased two-ohm power and lower noise.
Like all RMX models, the RMX 5050 features balanced 1/4" TRS, XLR and barrier strip inputs, binding posts and Neutrik Speakon outputs, front-mounted gain controls, plus signal and clip LED indicators to monitor performance. The RMX 5050 is housed in a rugged, compact 3RU chassis only 16 inches deep.
