Replacements for high quality vintage sound
Australian
technician Chris Kinman took 16 years of research to finally come out with
a product range of replacement pickups for Tele and Strat types of electric
guitars. The Kinman replacements have been optimized to deliver the vintage
sound of guitar players like Hank Marvin of the famous Shadows with a hum/noise
to signal ratio of today`s state of the art humbuckers.
Kinman offers a wide range of pickups customized to the sound of a
specific period and also to the position the pickup is going to be mounted
at. The available models include complete sets for Strat-, for Tele- and
for Broadcaster-type guitars. Kinman gives full specifications to any set
and single pickup of the ranges.
For example, the Hank Marvin Noise-Free models can be chosen as
Classic Vintage for the sixties sound of Hank or as Fat Vintage
, which reproduce the fat sound of Marvin`s recordings of the nineties.
Another example is the 1960`s Custom Set for Tele-type guitars.
