Bass and holographic finish by SSD
Handmade at Stuart Spector's workshop near Woodstock is the new Rex-5 signature
series bass, designed in collaboration with Stuart Spector and Rex Brown
of Pantera, who can be seen playing the first of these basses on
Pantera's current world tour. The Rex-5 features a neck- through-body design
and a unique body shape. The instrument will be available in both 4- and
5-string configurations. Stuart Spector Designs offers handmade US models
as well as imported versions.
The new Korean bass by Stuart Spector, the NS-2000Q4HG, sports a unique
holoflash black finish. The finish changes through every colour of
the spectrum with any slight movement of the instrument. This stunning
effekt is achieved by utilising a special holographic material that is
hand applied. The bass offers the same standard features of the Spector
NS-2000Q and boasts EMG-HZ and EMG-BT tone circuit alongside plated hardware.
