Albion Amplification announces artists at NAMM 2011 Booth

Albion Amplification will be unveiling their new line of amplifiers at the Winter NAMM show 2011, booth #3190. To showcase the new line, Albion is inviting their list of artists to demonstrate the product and meet with retailers and distributors during the show.
Artists scheduled to appear include Andy Johns (producer/engineer for the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, Rod Stewart, Steve Miller and Joe Satriani), Tariqh Akoni (guitarist, George Duke, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, The Backstreet Boys, Josh Groban, Christina Aguilera, Elton John, Herbie Hancock, Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Lopez, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Rob Thomas, Alicia Keys, Smokey Robinson, Joss Stone, Kenny Rogers), Steve Postell (composer, producer; clients include AT&T, Dupont, Coca Cola), Rami Jaffee (Wallflowers, Macy Gray, Kris Kristofferson, Fall Out Boys, Foo Fighters, LeAnn Rimes, Coheed and Cambria, Keith Urban, Johnny Cash, Ziggy Marley), John Payne (bassist for Asia and producer of Peter Frampton, Styx, Ted Nugent and David Lee Roth), Mitch Perry (guitarist for Cher, Steeler, Michael Schenker Group, Graham Nash, Edgar Winter), Jeff Pevar (Ray Charles, Joe Cocker, David Crosby, Rickie Lee Jones), Doug Aldridge (Whitesnake, Dio), Ant Glynne (Asia, Mike Oldfield, Slash, Rick Wakeman, Albert Collins and Taj Mahal), Tobias Karlsson, Chris Field, and Rafael Mineira. Time and schedule of appearances will be announced during the show.
Albion Amplification is the teaming of International Audio Group and designer/engineer, Steve Grindrod. Apart from having been a pro musician and building his first guitar amp at the age of 13, he has been designing and engineering amplifier and speaker products for two of England’s most famous guitar amp companies. From 1973 to 2000, Grindrod served as Chief Engineer and Director of Research and Development for Marshall Amplification. Under his direction, Marshall produced their most successful product lines to date. In 2000, Grindrod was invited by VOX to become Managing Director and Chief Designer, a position he held until 2008.
Based in Huntingdon, England, International Audio Group is a manufacturer of consumer electronics, professional audio and lighting products. Their portfolio of brands includes some of the oldest and respected names in the business. Their entire product line is produced in their Shenzhen, China facility and it is reported to be one of the largest custom designed electronics and audio manufacturing facilities in the world staffing 2000 full time employees.
