Classic 30 head and matching 212 cabinet make debut

Peavey unveils its redesigned Classic Series guitar amplifiers at Namm summer session 2005, booth #1535. Originally launched in 1991, these versatile all-tube amps retain their distinctive sound and circuitry but now feature an updated chassis design and two new models, the Classic 30 Head and matching 212 Cabinet.
Classic Series amps feature three 12AX7 preamp tubes and four EL84 power amp tubes, and are available in two 50-watt designs - the Classic 50/212 and 50/410 - as well as a 30-watt combo and 30-watt head. The 50-watt models include an active presence control. All models feature footswitchable channel and reverb and three-band EQ. Classic Series combos and cabinets are outfitted with Blue Marvel loudspeakers. Other features include normal channel with volume control, lead channel with pre- and post-gain controls, shared 3-band passive EQ, master volume, reverb, footswitchable effects loop, external speaker capability. Footswitch is include. Classic models are available black or vintage tweed.
With their responsive gain structure and warm/punch tube combination, Classic Series amps are revered by rock guitarists, blues benders and country players for their wide tonal versatility and 15 years of road-proven reliability.
