At Winter NAMM show 2009, Boss introduced its feature-packed TU-88 for guitar and bass players. Available in black or white, it provides accurate tuning, a metronome, and a headphone amp for private tuning, warm-ups, and effects verification.
The Boss TU-88 features three tuning modes (Chromatic, Guitar, Bass), Flat Tuning function, Accu-Pitch verification with an audible beep. The built-in headphone amp is for tuning, warm up, check your effects in private and also to play along an external music-playback device connected via the additional mix-in socket. The built-in metronome provides selectable rhythmic patterns, tap- tempo, and volume control.
