Parker Guitars launches the Maxx Fly Bass at Winter NAMM 2012

Introduced at Winter NAMM show 2012, the Maxx Fly Bass is designed to represent the culmination of Parker Guitars' finest work in a bass: "Sacrificing nothing in terms of design and aesthetics, this bass is the ultimate in its class and is a powerhouse of features. It is a bass that a professional musician will turn to time and time again."
The body is crafted of swamp ash and is backed with Parker's carbon glass epoxy wrap. Featuring an EMG ‘P’ split-neck pickup, an EMG ‘MMCS’ bridge pickup, and an EMG piezo buffer, the Maxx offers a wide variety of tone. The Parker designed Hipshot bridge also houses the Ghost piezo saddles. The Maxx Fly bass is available in a gloss finish, with colours including dusty black, 3-tone sunburst, and candy lemon yellow.
The neck is poplar with a carbon glass epoxy fretboard sporting 24 stainless steel frets and Hipshot Ultra Light lollipop tuners. The entire bass weighs in at approximately 6 lbs. A fretless version is also available.
