Hughes & Kettner zenTera head After launching the zenAmp guitar combo amplifier in late 2001 Hughes & Kettner unveiled the zenAmp head and the zenTera head at winter NAMM in Anaheim and will also be showing the amps at Musikmesse Frankfurt, hall 4.0 E30.
The ZenTera head modeling amplifier has a power of 2x100 watts and sports eleven amplifier models, 38 effects switchable pre and post, and stereo recording output. It's using two Sharc 32 bit floating point processors and works with a 44,1 kHz sampling rate. Upgrades can be added via MIDI.
zenAmp Head FrontThe zenAmp Head offers Dynamic Sector Modeling at 38 kHz sampling rate working with a single Sharc processor using the same power amplifier as its big brother, the zenTera head. The zenAmp offers a choice of 16 amp models. You can mix, match and combine effects offered by the three FX sections Reverb, Delay and Modulation at will, whereby the latter two give you 15 effect models to choose from.
At winter NAMM the TriAmp MK II with 13 tubes for a huge variety of possible sounds debuted. The TriAmp philosophy includes three all tube dual channel amplifiers matched with an intelligent loop system.
With amp 1 you go for vintage Californian clean sound, amp 2 delivers the classic rock tone of the '70s and '80s, while amp 3 is using two channels for the high gain sound of the '90s. All six of the TriAmp channels can be called up conveniently via the included stageboard. The optional MSM-1 module endows the TriAmp with MIDI capability. Four EL34 tubes deliver an output power of 100 watts.
