More power for MAG bass amps

Not every bass player can afford the full-spec Ashdown ABM bass rigs used by John Entwistle, U2's Adam Clayton and other top pros. It's no surprise that Ashdown's more affordable MAG Series heads, cabs and combos have been a success ever since they burst onto the scene a few years back. New for 2002, MAG bass amps get an increase in power to 250 watts rms, making them ideal for use by the busy semo-pro bassist playing relatively large venues. In the process, the MAG 250s have also received a complete new circuit and transformer designs, resulting in lower noise and faster attack. Easily recognisable by their silver front panels and classic Ashdown VU meters, the new MAG 250 head and combos retain all of the sophisticated facilities of their predecessors including 5 band EQ, bright and deep push switches, balanced DI output and tuner/line output. And of course the MAG 250s also feature a sub-harmoniser with variable level control. The full Ashdown MAG 250 bass range includes an amplifier head, 1x15, 2x10 and 4x10 combos and 1x15, 2x10 and 4x10 cabinets. Ashdown BlueLine speakers are used throughout for enhanced attack, clarity and low-end performance and tough carpet covering and rugged metal grilles provide protection.
