Velocity series basses by Hamer

Kaman Music introduced Velocity Series basses in its Hamer line-up at January NAMM 2002. "The Hamer Velocity bass offers great looks, sound and playability at an affordable price," commented Frank Rindone, Hamer's Product Manager. The bass features a solid Bubinga body with a five piece laminated bolt-on neck constructed of Bubinga and Maple. The neck is capped with a Rosewood fingerboard and accented with off-set MOP dot inlays. The Velocity bass (VEL) is powered by a single Humbucking pickup with volume, and active bass and treble controls. For the player who requires more sound capabilities, there is the Velocity 2 (VEL2) version which features the same specs, only with 2 J-style pick-ups and a 3–way selector switch.
