At Summer NAMM 2013, Nashville, Blackstar Amplification added the affordable LT range of compact boost, overdrive and distortion pedals. Comprising five models, the LT range is scheduled to start shipping in fall 2013. Tonally derived from Blackstar’s HT pedal range, these new pedals offer high-quality sonic performance, tube-like responsiveness, and rugged metal housing for durability.
The LT Boost offers continuously variable boost with bass and treble ‘cut and boost’ controls for tonal refinement. Sonically based on Blackstar’s HT-Drive tube pedal for a robust tone, LT Drive is an oerdrive pedal with simple and versatile gain, level and tone layout.
The LT Dual is designed to turn a single-channel amp into a 3-channel one. It features two gain and level-equipped distortion channels plus clean boost to high gain drive with shared tone.
LT Dist is a simple and versatile distortion pedal with gain, level and tone controls. The LT Metal pedal provides extreme gain and tone.
These pedals mark the start of an ongoing series which will expand to encompass gain, time and modulation-based effects. |
