Peavey launches Generation USA custom models

At NAMM summer session 2004, Peavey introduced the new Generation USA Custom guitars, designed in the Peavey Custom Shop and featuring Peavey's patented ACM circuitry for replicating an acoustic guitar sound. Arriving in response to the popularity of Peavey Generation Series guitars, the Generation USA Custom further refines the artistry of these instruments with a pearloid top and matching tuning keys, plus a hard rock maple neck, birdseye fretboard and a high quality, solid alder body. Three soapbar-style pickups add refreshing tonal balance and a vintage flair to both clean and distorted tones, while the ACM circuit replicates an acoustic guitar's natural tone and resonance. The soapbar-pickup and ACM tones can also be blended via a 360°, fully adjustable knob control for a hybrid tone. The three pickups can be adjusted via volume and tone controls and a three-way selector switch. Features include 25" scale, solid alder body, steel plate bridge with Graphtech saddles, dual-expanding truss rod, binding on back and top.
