Providing 25 watts of RMS power, Johnson launched its first all-tube guitar combo amplifier at Summer NAMM show 2005. The T25R Loredo Tube amp contains four tubes and a 10" Alphatone speaker. The pre-amp section features two 12AX7 tubes, 3-Band EQ, effects send & return, and a classic Accutronic spring reverb. The power amp section uses two EL84 valves.
The T25R provides 1/4" input/outputs plus an XLR line out for a convenient connection to a mixing board. The gain control on the amp is designed for pumping the preamp level up for distinctive power amp tube overdrive.
The Johnson brand is marketed in Europe under the AXL brand name. |
