Upgrade for Pacific drums and percussion
Following
the successful introduction of Drum Workshop's Pacific Drums and Percussion
division in 2000, a host of introductions, improvements and upgrades followed
at NAMM and will be showing at Musikmesse Frankfurt. "From the beginning,
our goal with Pacific was to combine DW's expertise in drum design with
leading manufacturers from around the world to create a new range of advanced,
high-quality yet economical drums and percussion," comments Drum Workshop
Sales Director, Chris Lombardi. "Our expanded catalog and sales strategies
have built upon that foundation and are intended to take Pacific to the
next level."
For 2001 Pacific's semi-pro "CX" Series drumkits include a 400 Series
double bass drum pedal along with an 18x22" bass drum, 8x10", 9x12" and
12x14" rack toms and a matching 5.5x14" wood snare drum in a Indigo and
Platinum covered finishes as well as See-Thru Midnight Blue and Crimson
Red lacquer. Other "CX" Series refinements include new flanged suspension-style
Pacific Drum Mounts and upgraded 800 Series hardware. Available add-ons
include matching 7x8" rack and 14x16" floor tom.
The 2001 selection of Pacific 700, 800 and 900 Series hardware as well
as the 400, 500 and 600 Series single and double bass drum pedals also
