All three were given a tour of the Evans factory by Jim D'Addario, President of D'Addario and Evans. El Negro then adjourned to D'Addario's recording studio, where he digitally recorded for use on Evans' upcoming video and interactive CD-ROM, which will include a factory tour, a full catalog and Evans' artist video and audio clips. Giovanni Hidalgo spend the day testing Evans' new conga heads, which will be available in 1999. At day's end, El Negro and Giovanni got together for an incredible jam session that left those who witnessed it in awe.
''It was an exciting day for Evans, having three of our most valued performing artists here on one day,'' said Artist Relations Manager Peter D'Addario. ''They truly enjoyed touring our facilities and watching Evans products in action. As always, we gained valuable experience and knowledge from their input and feedback on our products.''
