Numark launches new tabletop CD players with additional USB input

Numark announces its new NDX200 scratch CD turntable and NDX400 scratch MP3/CD turntable with USB input. NDX200 and NDX400 made their debut at Summer NAMM show in Nashville and will be showcased at PLASA 2009 in London.
NDX200 is a scratch CD turntable with a heavy, rugged build and a large scratch wheel for comfortable performance. Numark’s Anti-Shock buffered skip-protection technology keeps music playing even when vibrations might cause other players to skip. NDX200 features seamless looping for creating and integrating loops in instant remixes. Single, continuous, and programmable playback enable DJs to create their own playlist, and fader start enables the unit to start playing when the DJ moves the crossfader on a compatible mixer.
NDX400 builds upon all of the features and capabilities of NDX200 including scratch, adding some key upgrades. The flexible player not only plays standard CDs but it also can play MP3 CDs for lengthy playback from a single disc. The unit also can play from a USB flash drive. NDX400 has advanced braking for vinyl-style startup and stopping of playback, and a reverse mode enables DJs to incorporate special effects. The player also offers three hot cue points for quick access to key points in the track.
“Whether you are an experienced veteran or just starting out, NDX200 and NDX400 are perfect choices,” said Mark Matthews, Director of Product Development, Numark. “You get more features for your money with these new CD players.”
