Gemini upgrades turntables
As
a result of the constant input from DJs around the world, Gemini has introduced
the new PT-2000 II and PT-1000 II and XL-500 and XL-400 II. All feature
upgrades including RCA jacks and power leads that have been moved from
the bottom of the unit to the back for easier access. All four models have
an 'S' shaped tone arm with up to 7 grams of tone arm pressure and anti-skate
adjustment available. Other benefits are +/- 10% pitch control, and a new
pitch bend feature for increased freedom of expression.
In addition, the PT-1000 II direct drive turntable, boasts quartz lock
operation, height adjustment on the tonearm, and increased torque. The
PT-2000 II professional turntable has all the above features and incorporates
a momentary platter reverse switch for cueing, that also offers increased
possibilities for the DJ.
The XL-500 II direct drive manual turntable has all the above features
plus a soft start/stop button. The upgraded XL-400 II belt drive turntable
also features a pitch bend button.
