Vitale promoted to Vice President, Art Director, MTV

Maurizio Vitale has been promoted to Vice President, Art Director, MTV Networks Europe/MTV South, reporting into Richard Godfrey, Senior Vice President, MTV Productions Europe.
Formerly Creative Director for MTV Italia and Espana, Maurizio will be responsible for overseeing all creative of the network's pan-european programming including the MTV Europe Music Awards, WinterJam, MTV at the Movies and MTV Europe's annual summer dance event. As part of this newly created position he will also be integral to the creative elements of associated marketing and online initiatives and will advise MTV Network's Europe on the production of creative materials. He will also continue to oversee the creative for MTV Italia and MTV Espana.

Whilst he was working for MTV Italia and Espana he delivered some incredibly original, edgy work and his work on the MTV Europe Music Awards which has won accolades the world over. As well as his continuing his existing responsibility for MTV Italia and Espana, Maurizio will work hand in hand with our channels all over Europe to ensure that we continue to deliver the high standard of creative work that MTV Networks Europe is renowned for."
Maurizio has worked for MTV Networks Europe since 1996. Before he joined MTV he worked as a freelance broadcast designer in Italy and the UK. On joining MTV Europe he was quickly promoted to Senior Designer, and then to Creative Director for MTV Italia and MTV Espana in 1999.
