Yamaha introduces highly portable recording solutions: W24 and C24

Compact and lightweight, Yamaha's Pocketrak W24 Pocket Recorder offers stereo recording in 24bit/96 kHz resolution. Launched at Winter NAMM Show 2010, in Anaheim, California, and shortly after highlighted at Musikmesse 2010 in Frankfurt, Germany., it is equipped with a large high quality dual X-Y microphone.<.br> Recording is more convenient than ever thanks to the supplied wireless remote control. The built-in Tuner and Metronome are convenient in practise situations. It’s a perfect choice for effortless recording in the studio on the stage or out in the field. The on-board memory of two GB can be extended by using the micro SD /micro SD HC card slot.
The entry level Pocketrak C24 Pocket Recorder is one of the world`s smallest 24bit/96kHz digital recorders. It has 2 GB internal memory and weighs only 57 grams. You can expand the memory with micro SD or micro SD HC cards. With the high quality omnidirectional stereo microphone you can record in WAV or MP3 format. The innovative attachment clip allows it to be placed almost anywhere. A tuner and metronome are built-in.
