Shure Distribution UK, formerly HW International, made its trade show debut at PLASA 2003. Shure Incorportated purchased the company in February 2003, continuing the UK distribution of QSC, Phonic, PreSonus, Aviom and Sound Devices. At the Earl's Court show Shure distribution UK launched several Shure products, which will also be showing at 115th AES in New York.
The ConferenceONE system is designed for meetings of up to 60 people with microphones, featuring Shure IntelliMix automated mixing technology and Shure Microflex gooseneck-microphones. ConferenceONE systems are quickly set up and easy to handle. Easily expandable and very robust, the ConferenceONE system also sports an attractive, low-profile design and provides high intelligibility in different environments. The Digital Feedback Reducer DFR22 is Shure's latest addition to its DSP product range. Designed to be used for fixed installations, the DFR22 features Shure's patented Digital Feedback Reduction algorithm (DFR), up to 16 notch filters in each channel, a Windows compatible controller software and extended sound processing abilities. | |
The active Combiner PA821 services up to 8 wireless microphone transmitters combining 8 frequencies to one antenna reducing intermodulation distortion and dropouts caused by HF interferences. The PA821 is compatible with the Shure Personal Monitoring sytems PSM 400, PSM 600 and PSM 700.
Also new at PLASA were several accessories for the PSM series including mounting adapters as well as a many useful cable adapters. | |
