Community introduces VERIS for installed sound applications

Community’s announces the VERsatile Installation Systems (VERIS) comprising a range of small-to-medium-sized loudspeakers that are precisely engineered for versatile array construction, while aesthetically styled to meet modern architectural requirements.
A powerful resource for the professional contractor, each VERIS model exhibits linear phase throughout the critical crossover regions and features Community's uniform full-range voicing system to minimize variations in sound quality among the range of models.
Ken DeLoria, Community’s Product Manager states: “VERIS’ smooth and intelligible sonic output is the result of patent-pending carbon ring cone technology, coupled with Ferrofluid-cooled and damped MF and HF drivers. This proprietary union of technologies brings low distortion, high-impact sonic capability to a wide range of applications. And because we manufacture the drivers ourselves, we’re able to meet a surprisingly affordable price-point.”
Available models start with the VERIS6, a single 6” with an HF horn-driver combination in a compact enclosure. Next are a dual 6”, a single 8”, and a dual 8,” also with attendant HF horn-drivers. These four models each ship with a yoke-style mounting bracket as an included accessory, and can be ordered with an optional low distortion, low insertion-loss 200W internal autoformer for 70V applications.
The larger 12” and 15” models offer a choice of large-format horns, all employing Community’s pattern control technology. Horn patterns include 90º x 60º and 60º x 40º for the two-way systems, and 90° x 40° and 60° x 40° for the three-way systems. Two elegant, low profile subwoofers, a dual-10” and a dual-12”, both using Cool-Coil heat evacuating system, cover the low frequencies.
“Applications for VERIS include houses of worship, conference rooms, clubs, restaurants, and many other small to mid-size venues where people gather to hear music and speech reproduced with maximum clarity and intelligibility,” states Julia Lee, Community’s director of sales and marketing. “It’s important to us at Community that every model in the range fits a specific need. We’re confident that VERIS will be a perfect fit for a large number of our contractors, both in the US and abroad.”
The VERIS line includes a wide range of optional off-the-shelf rigging systems and mounting brackets, all engineered for quick, convenient, and safe installation. All models are available in black or white at no additional charge, and come equipped with a generous number of rigging points. The full-range enclosures are additionally outfitted with OmniMount compatible fasteners.
