Behringer X32 digital console comes to InfoComm 2012

Featuring 32 input channels with fully programmable high-end mic preamps and 16 configurable mix buses, Behringer launched its X32 digital live/recording mixing console at Winter NAMM show 2012. First orders were taken during Prolight + Sound show 2012 in Frankfurt, Germany, at InfoComm 2012. Las Vegas, final product was showcased.
Designed in conjunction with sister company MIDAS, the X32 has powerful scene management, a virtual FX rack with eight true-stereo FX slots, 40-Bit floating-point DSP with lowest possible latency, onboard talkback, direct-to-USB memory stick uncompressed 2-track recording and more. A high-resolution 7" color TFT display provides dedicated parameter controls and visual feedback for all functions, which are only one or two clicks away at any given moment. The free X32 iPad remote control app will allow users to make adjustments to faders, auxiliary sends, graphic equalizers and more while away from the console.
The X32 is suitable for deployment with Behringer's S16 Digital Snake, XUF FireWire Card and P16 Personal Monitoring System none which is included with X32.
Further features include fully programmable high-end mic preamps and 16 mix buses, configurable as subgroups; main LCR and all 16 mix buses featuring inserts, 6-band parametric EQ's and dynamics processing; 16 analogue XLR outputs plus 6 additional line in/outputs; two phones connectors; and a talkback section with integrated or external microphone. The console is 48-channel digital snake ready via AES50 ports featuring Klark Teknikā€™s SuperMAC networking capability for low jitter and latency. The built-in expansion port for FireWire/USB/ADAT card supports standalone 16-channel recorder or other networking interfaces. The virtual FX rack offers eight stereo FX slots for high-end simulations of peripheral gear.
