FBT's Verve line of loudspeakers at PLASA 2008

Announcing the availability of the self-powered loudspeakers Verve 15Sa and Verve 10a, FBT have completed their active Verve series which has been unveiled at prolight+sound show 2007 in Frankfurt, Germany, and will also be highlighted at PLASA 2008, in London, stand M48. The series offers a wide choice of models and features making the line suitable for theatres, live music venues, touring bands, clubs, discotheques, sport arenas, stages, installations, personal studios, houses of worship, and corporate facilities. The enclosures feature scratch and scuff resistant paint finish, professional sound performance at high SPL output, neodymium technology woofers and HF compression drivers mounted on rotatable CD horns. The Verve series is available in 10 bi-amplified active and 10 passive touring grade models, all equipped with high efficiency custom B&C woofers and HF compression drivers. The active models combine lightweight modern amplifier circuits in class G, AB and PWM with switching-mode power supplies. Neodymium magnet woofers reduce the overall weight for better portability. Dynamic equalization of the low frequencies provides maximum SPL and limits excessive woofer excursion. The active Verve series models comprise 215a (600W + 150W – 129 dB SPL), 152a (500W + 150W – 125 dBSPL), 15a (350W + 100W – 123.5 dB SPL), 12a (300W + 100W – 123 dB SPL), 10a (250W + 100W – 121 dB SPL), the subwoofers 18Sa (600W – 126.5 dB SPL) and 15Sa (500W – 124.5 dB SPL). There also three active stage monitors with coaxial drivers, the 15Ma (350W + 100W – 123.5 dB SPL) 12Ma (300W + 100W – 123 dB SPL), and 8Ma (150W + 50W – 117 dB SPL). A large selection of accessories and hardware provides versatility for different applications.
