At prolight+ sound show 2009 in Frankfurt, Germany, and at NAB show 2009, Las Vegas, Roland Systems Group (RSG) announced details about the release of Version 2.0 software for the RSS M-400 V-Mixer Digital Console – the key component of the popular V-Mixing System which will also be featured at InfoComm 2009, in Orlando, Florida, booth #5471.
Version 2.0 includes software control and management for multiple M-48 Live Personal Mixers, a personal mixing and monitor solution, LCR support (for Left-Center-Right sound systems), vintage Roland effects including digital delay, Space Echo, digital reverb, stereo flanger, Dimension D, and a phase shifter. Other features comprise an expanded parametric EQ and graphic EQ capability, real-time analyzer, and numerous user interface enhancements.
“We are again thrilled with the turn-around time that our engineering team has pulled off in producing yet another momentous update so quickly after what everyone considered to be a very significant Version 1.5 update”, commented Bodo Feldmann, managing director of Roland Systems Group Euro Germany. “Our users are passionate about the V-Mixing System, using it day in and day out. As a result, fostering a direct feedback loop into engineering has been the key to our success in creating a solution that is the best in its class. Now add the ‘surprise’ of the M-48 Personal Mixer to the V-Mixing System line-up and there’s no debate.”
The M-400 V-Mixer is one of the four components of the V-Mixing System which also includes Digital Snakes.
