Light and compact CMS 600-3 mixer by Dynacord

Suitable for professional applications in which few channels but high audio quality are required, Dynacord presents the most recent addition to its CMS mixer range, CMS 600-3. The versatile CMS 600-3 is recommended for a variety of applications, such as live performances, recording studios, or fixed installations. The light weight of only 5.8 kilograms and its compact design make it easy to carry.
The CMS 600-3 features low-noise and low-hum, electronically balanced XLR microphone inputs (with a low distortion factor of typically < 0.002%), a nine-band stereo equalizer in the master section, and switchable low-cut filters that intervene at 80 Hz. An integrated studio quality USB 2.0 interface is suitable for live recordings but and for playback. In addition to the classic six mono and two stereo analogue inputs, the CMS offers two stereo digital inputs via USB. Each channel boasts three sends – FX (post-fader), AUX (switchable globally pre-/post-fader), and Monitor (pre-fader) – as well as a Balance/Pan control, a Mute and PFL switch, and a volume fader with Peak and Signal display.
The CMS 600-3 is equipped with two separately editable effects units with 2 x 100 factory presets optimized for live performance and 2 x 20 user presets covering the widest range of live and recording needs. The effects are switchable remotely (via MIDI or foot switch), while a large, contrast-rich OLED display allows user-friendly operation.
A rack-mount kit for integration into 19-inch racks is available as an option, as is a made-to-measure bag for safe and easy transport.
Dynacord CMS-600 3
“We have equipped the CMS 600-3 exclusively with high-end components,” said Martin Traut, Dynacord’s Senior Product Manager. “ALPS faders and potentiometers, low-noise and low-hum XLR inputs, and high-quality microphone preamps provide a foundation upon which the highest pro-audio standards are met. The result is a mixer suitable for many applications in which few channels but high audio quality are required – whether in live performance, recording, or fixed installation. For me, there isn’t a single mixer in this price category that can touch it for the quality of its feature set and the excellence of its sound.”
